Owner Sara Nett, her husband, and their five-year-old kiddo purchased a 2,300-square-foot building on St. Peter’s main drag in mid-2017. With 27 years of experience in theatrical construction and design, freelance artistry, and bespoke tailoring, she was eager to branch out (pun intended) into a new artistic medium. Pulling from her decades of experience in customer service, management, and retail shop ownership, she settled on a vision and got to work building Sweet Alice. You'll find Ashley, Coco, and Mady helping out in the shop these days, keeping Sara on track. Teamwork makes the dream work, and the Sweet Alice team is the best!

We love Minnesota flowers! We’re thrilled to work with Len Busch Roses, a grower of beautiful blooms and plants in 15 acres of greenhouses in Plymouth, MN. We’re also a member of the Twin Cities Flower Exchange, which allows us to source amazing blooms from independent Minnesota flower farmers, including Gullywash Gardens, Honken' Dahlias, Green Earth Growers, Blue Sky Flower Farm, and many more. We also work with local farmers like Milkhouse Flowers and Little Roots Flower Farm to promote the use of locally grown blooms every day.
Sustainably Sourced
In addition to Minnesota-grown flowers, Sweet Alice sources from sustainable growers worldwide, including Rio Roses, Fresca Farms, Rosa Prima, and Elite Flower. We pay attention to sustainable farming practices as well as working conditions and living wages when selecting our suppliers.

We're a close-knit community in this part of MN, despite the physical distances between us.
